Spring has arrived with fresh air, newly cut grass and beautiful brightly colored flowers coming out of the ground. Spring also brings an opportunity for new beginnings and for fresh starts!
Here are 5 rules to Living Well...
GET ADJUSTED- Getting adjusted can not only balance your Nervous System and align your spine but also enhance immune function and help aide in your body's natural healing process.
DRINK WATER- Your body is composed of 60 water. Water helps assist in digestion, absorption,circulation,transportation of nutrients and regulating body temperature. The more water you drink, the better! Water is a nutrient that your body needs.
SLEEP WELL- We spend about 1/3 of our lives sleeping! When we are asleep, our bodies are working to repair tissue damage and detoxify. Not getting enough sleep can increase the chance for high blood pressure, heart issues and it can impair daily performance and mood. Make sure you are allowing your body 6-8 hours of good sleep every night.
EAT WELL- Have you heard the expression "You are what you eat?" Food is fuel and before putting anything into your body, you should ask yourself, "Is this beneficial?" If the answer is yes, then eat it. If the answer is no, PUT IT DOWN! Does this mean once in awhile you can't enjoy a cookie, a piece of chocolate or even a glass of wine? Of course not! Moderation is the key!
GROW SPIRITUALLY- Taking care of your spiritual health is also vitally important to maintaining your physical health. Dedicate 10-15 minutes a day to allowing God to fill you with His truth and see how other things fall into place. The expression letting go and letting God actually makes perfect sense. Letting go of stress, worry and anxiety opens up a pathway to receive peace.
