Being Well

Spinal damage or injury at any age can misalign bones and shift the head off-center.

The result is stress on the nervous system, muscle spasm, postural distortion, and spinal decay. Nerves going to all parts of the body can be affected.

Correcting the spine can alleviate stress, pain, and discomfort allowing the body to heal and function properly. Please see our media page for video information regarding chiropractic assessment at Living Well Spine Center, and the importance of chiropractic care for a lifetime of Living Well.

Visualizing Your Condition

My Chiro Correction is a service that we utilize to help educate our clients about their spinal condition. Upon visiting Living Well Spine Center for an adjustment, you may request a My Chiro Correction listing card. This card details the exact measurements specific to your misalignment.  Here's how it works:

1. Visit the My Chiro Correction Website

2. Click on "I am an Existing Patient"

3. Enter the measurements from your card

The animated tutorial demonstrates your misalignment exactly as it appears on your x-rays. Feel free to play with the program, toggling back and forth between misalignment and correction as you view the various teaching pages.

My Chiro Correction provides a close-up view of the cervical spine and brainstem as well as an expanded view of how the upper cervical subluxation affects the entire body. If you are not a patient of our office yet, then you can click, "No, I am a visitor" and it will provide a demonstration of a chiropractic correction based on generic measurements. This powerful program will illustrate to you through specific animations exactly how your spinal correction will balance your body and improve your life!

Health, as defined in Dorland’s medical dictionary, is optimum physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The primary focus of our care is detecting and eliminating the cause of your health concerns. By reducing spinal stress/interference to the nervous system, the body is better able to return to health and normal function. Whether you desire relief, improved performance, or optimizing your human potential, we welcome the opportunity to serve you.

Eating Well

You are what you eat, right? Actually, you are what you eat, digest and metabolize. Interrupting the “ease” of body function results in dis-ease. Leave things at that, and eventually “disease” is the result. Normal body function requires proper nutients and a lack of nutrients will definitely alter body processes.

This section of the site will be where we’ll add information, supported by both research and common sense, that helps you get the scoop on food and supplementation.

Moving Well

Motion is life…think about it. Stop moving and there’s going to be a funeral! Your body is a perfectly engineered moving machine. Joints feed information to the brain (and back again) that allows for proper function from the inside-out. In fact, a lack of motion is now considered by the science community to create deficiency in brain function.

Spending coutless hours seated at work, school or in front of the TV sets the stage for breakdown of muscle and supportive structural tissues in the body. Lack of movement, due to joints being “stuck”, creates faulty feedback from brain to body and begins to rob nutrients necessary for normal function.

This section of the site will focus on exercise/movement related information that adds years to your life and life to your years.

Thinking Well

Thoughts create reality. Focus becomes physiology. Here’s an example, stop right now and think about something in your past that was incredible. The birth of a child, your wedding, the first time you saw the grand canyon, anything you remember as incredible…how do you feel? Feelings of joy, happiness and positive energy actually begin to change your body chemistry in ways proven to boost your immune system and relieve stress on your heart.

This section of the site will provide information on stress management, positve feedback and things that let you take charge of your mental/emotional well-being.

Paige Wolfe, C.A.

Chiropractic Assistant

Paige@LivingWellSpineCenter.com

Before working here at Living Well Spine Center, I was a payroll manager for a trucking company.  Very stressful and unfulfilling job.  I became a patient of Dr. McCoskey in 1996 with my husband and 2 boys who were 3yrs old and 18 months at the time.  After a year of treatment my family and I were starting to get healthier and happier.  So then I became a team member of Living Well Spine Center in 1997. I feel God had placed me here and instilled a passion for providing help and hope to others who have been suffering unnecessarily.  My oldest son has graduated from college and the youngest has 2 years left in college.  My husband and I enjoy shooting, eating and traveling. I believe in God, He does all the healing.
